Board of Selectmen

The Board of Selectmen is a three-member board, elected at the annual Town elections for three-year staggering terms. The Board of Selectmen is the governing body of the Town while Town Meeting is the Legislative Body.  The Board of Selectmen is the executive, managerial and administrative body that does what is necessary to carry out the votes enacted at Town Meeting. They are responsible for the general operations of the Town including the Water and Sewer departments.
