Recreation Commission

The Recreation Commission, whose formation dates back to 1948, is a five-member board, appointed by the Board of Selectman, with staggering terms.  The Commission is responsible for the operations of the Recreation Center and Town Pool.  They host activities such as summer field trips and the annual Halloween dance.  They make recommendations to the Board of Selectmen regarding plans, policies, programs and projects relating to parks, facilities, and recreational activities.
